About Charity Rocks: 'Charity Rocks' was set up to help with fundraising for Meningitis UK. The small community of Berkeley, Gloucestershire has been hit hard by this terrible disease and fundraising began 3 years ago after the death of Sam Virgo aged 2 years. Sam's family and friends have so far raised £40,000 through local events such as an annual 10 mile walk, social events of all descriptions and the latest idea of a naked calendar featuring local people.

Mark Hopkins, retuning home after 15 years living in Asia is a unheard songwriter and after seeing the work being carried out by his local community and wanting to help, he recorded and has kindly donated one of his new songs to be downloaded in order to help with the fundraising. His song named 'Only the Brave Carry On', has only been heard by a handful of people prior to Sunday the 19th of December 2010, making it very unique. The song has been already played on 4 radio stations in the UK (Interviews here) and advertised in a local newspaper, giving Meningitis UK massive exposure to their Meningitis cause.
